Making of Giuseppe Verdi and more canvases

Zur Zeit habe ich es mit den Klassischen Komponisten und dem sogenannten Spontanrealismus. Bei der Auswahl der Komponisten bin ich ein wenig eingeschränkt. Ich benötige natürlich ein Foto, was die Zeit rückwärts in die Vergangenheit einschränkt, da die Fotografie erst in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts aufkam,  und ich benutze nur "gemeinfreie" Bilder, das heißt Bilder, die nicht mit einem Copyright belegt sind. Das bedeutet, sie sind in der Regel älter als 70 Jahre. Bleibt also etwa ein Zeitraum von 100 Jahren (1850 -1950) in welchem der Komponist fotografiert worden sein muss.

At the moment I have it with the classical composers and the so-called spontaneous realism. I am a little limited in my choice of composers. I need a photo, of course, which limits the time backwards into the past, since photography only came up in the first half of the 19th century, and I only use "public domain" images, that is, images that are not copyrighted. This means they are usually older than 70 years. This leaves a period of round about 100 years (1850 -1950) in which the composer must have been photographed.

Meine Arbeitsweise ist unverändert und wie ihr sie aus den früheren "Making of" bereits kennt: Auf einer meiner vorbereiteten "Crazy Canvases" habe ich zunächst das Porträt skizziert und dann farblich nach spontaner Eigebung ausgearbeitet und zwischenzeitlich immer mal wieder im schwarz/weiß Modus die Tonwerte kontrolliert.

My working method is unchanged and as you already know from the earlier "Making of": On one of my prepared "Crazy Canvases" I first sketched the portrait and then worked it out in colour according to spontaneous inspiration, in the meantime checking the tonal values every now and then in black and white mode.
